I know this looks good and it is but they kept it in this white hipster neighborhood meaning that they aren’t really going into areas with substantial homeless populations
The Street Store (2014) by Max Pazak and Kayli Levitan in collaboration with M&C Saatchi Abel and Haven Night Shelter Organization
Photographs were taken in Cape Town, South Africa on January 14th and 30th by Neal Tosefky
The world’s first rent-free, premises-free, free ‘pop-up clothing store’, found on the streets, curated by you.
We wanted to bridge the gap between the haves and have-nots — So we’re taking to the streets.
The world’s first pop-up store for the poor. Hang up donated clothes, drop shoes in the boxes. Then the homeless can help themselves. All donations made to The Street Store are free for the homeless to browse through and keep.

Everyone’s also invited to host their own Street Store. The Guide Book and open source files are available for download after filling out an online application form.
